Saint Louise House is pleased to announce H-E-B as Transformation Sponsor of Game Changer, our new fundraising event to be held in October.
While the event is new, our partnership is not. H-E-B has been partnering with Saint Louise House for over a decade. Together we have provided safe homes, essential services, and targeted support for women and children moving from homelessness to economic security.
H-E-B is well known for its commitment to helping every community it serves. Less well known may be the many forms that this commitment takes. It’s gift cards, it’s connections to vendors, it’s donations from individual employees through United Way. Just recently H-E-B connected Saint Louise House to TOP – The Organic Project – to provide personal products to Saint Louise House moms.
“H-E-B is always there for the mothers and children of Saint Louise House. When we had to develop a new plan for celebrating Thanksgiving with families during the pandemic, they worked with us and provided individual meals for every family,“ described Maria Kiehn, Saint Louise House Director, Community of Support.
As Saint Louise House has grown to apartments for 42 families, so has H-E-B’s commitment. They began their involvement with Saint Louise House events by providing in-kind donations for the Mother and Me Tea. As the event and the services Saint Louise House provides grew, so did their sponsorship.
In 2020, H-E-B was among the first to sponsor the Weekend of Giving. When the event was cancelled due to the pandemic, H-E-B doubled down and donated even more funds to ensure that Saint Louise House could continue to meet the increased needs of the low-income families who live here. It is therefore no surprise that H-E-B is the first major corporate sponsor to commit to this year’s Game Changer.
Thank you, H-E-B for your commitment to Saint Louise House and families in need.
Game Changer will be held Saturday, October 23rd at the Junior League of Austin’s Community Impact Center. For more information, visit https://saintlouisehouse.org/events/
