Melissa Celerier
Melissa is from Austin and has been serving youth and families as a clinical social worker since 1997. She received both her Bachelors of Arts in Government and Latin American Studies and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. For over 10 years Melissa served low income and homeless youth and families. She provided adolescent and family counseling and later served as a director for a program that provided– case management, counseling, housing, employment assistance, meals, and a health clinic. Later Melissa began a private practice serving individuals and families, while also providing clinical supervision to other therapists. Melissa has been with Saint Louise House since its beginning by helping in the development of program policies and the staff’s training curriculum. She also provided clinical supervision to many of its program directors and staff.
