About The Event: The Mother and Me Tea will be a magical event to celebrate the important women in our lives – mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunts and friends – while we also celebrate the 140 families that have called Saint Louise House “home” since 2001. Join us on Saturday, May 9 from 12:30-3:00 p.m. at the historic and beautiful Green Pastures Restaurant for tea, children’s activities, and more! Proceeds from this fun event will support efforts to achieve maximum capacity of 46 families and continue the work of providing housing and supportive services for women with children experiencing homelessness in Austin.
Become a sponsor: Sponsors are a key factor in making the Mother and Me Tea a successful event and we are asking Saint Louise House friends for your help in providing sponsorships, silent auction items and in-kind donations. You can learn more about sponsorship opportunities here:MMTea 2015 packet

On behalf of the Mother and Me Tea Steering Committee, thank you for your interest in our event, as we celebrate Mother’s Day weekend while raising funds to support Saint Louise House.
Saint Louise House provides housing and essential services to homeless mothers and children in Austin. A lot of people don’t know, but the fastest growing population segment of those experiencing homelessness in Austin is women and children. Saint Louise House provides a haven and a safe place to sleep, as well as keeping the family together, so they can receive the support and tools needed to develop long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
The Mother and Me provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strength of mothers, while your support directly impacts the lives of these moms and kids who call Saint Louise House “home.”
We appreciate your support of the Mother and Me Tea.
