“It’s summer!” is a phrase (and a mindset!) that has echoed through the breezeways of Saint Louise House since that last school bell rang in May. Summer’s not only a time for equal parts play and rest, but it’s also a time for enrichment, with camps, activities, tutoring appointments and more. This summer is especially enriching for some teens, who received generous sponsorships to participate in weeklong camps focused on STEM and the arts.
The warm weather and lighter schedules also provide ample time for servi
ce – and some wonderful groups have visited Saint Louise House to help beautify our grounds, organize our storage units, or help in their own special ways. Groups from St. Catherine of Siena, Charles Schwab, St. Theresa Catholic Church, Westlake High School, Seton, Just 5 Days, ADT, Skillpoint Alliance, the National Charity League, and others are spending time with us this summer! Plus, in August, the National Charity League, Seton and Alliance Tech will help with Back-to-School plans to (hopefully!) get children just as excited about the new school year as they were about summer.
